Video interview with Michelle O'Connell

Author and illustrator Michelle O'Connell on her children's book "Leaving for the Front - A boy's story". The story is based around a march in Masterton, New Zealand, to commemorate soldiers who left in 1914 to go to World War I. In this video interview with BMS Books publisher Mike Smith, Michelle talks about why she wrote and illustrated the book and discusses how she brings writing and illustrating together in developing a story.
