Children's poems on The Crossing
Masterton children are celebrating Poetry Day by writing poems around Michelle O'Connell's book "The Crossing".
Children at Douglas Park School, Fernridge School, Lakeview School, Lansdowne Kindergarten and West Kindergarten have written poems based on Michelle O'Connell's book, The Crossing, and the experience of marching over the Rimutaka Hills as a WW1 soldiers.
All welcome to attend Poetry Day and hear the students read their work.
